What You Need to Know
As a fellow independent author, you know that us indies wouldn’t be anywhere without our readers. The reality is that only one group of people really matters to us—YOU, the reader. As it so happens we’re readers and writers, just like you.
We know the deal.
Look, there’s only so much time in our lives to work our way to professional (paid) author, living on an island or in a castle. But we figured, why not encourage you to be a bigger part of our mutual success? After all, in the self publishing community it’s you scratch my back and I give you a massage—wait that’s a different community. We digress…
However, the reality is that when the going gets ugly, it’s encouragement and “kind” reviews that keep us aspiring authors writing. But until now, we’ve never had a way of to thank you personally.
So we’re introducing the Author Basics Ambassador Launch Team aka “Street Team.” Sure, we played around with a few different names (“The AB Publishing Pimps” and “The A … B Team“ were close contenders) but we think Street Team sums it up nicely.
